The Body Shop is world's leading ethical cosmetics company. The Body Shop belongs to L’Oreal but is a standalone division. The Body Shop Benelux is based in Almere.
Key responsabilities
- Accountable for HR
policies and administration (payroll, pensions, local benefits etc.) and ensure compliance with legal requirements in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg;
- Responsible for
employee relations and negotiations with the work councils with relevant management; - Supports the
managers in employee relations & labour legislation matters. - Responsible for
recruitment and induction/on-boarding of the support team in the Benelux head quarters. Pro-actively identifying talent through a human resource planning process; - Providing support
to the regional managers in hiring Store Managers; - Collecting,
analyzing and reporting on HR KPI’s both to the Benelux and International management team; - Support the roll
out of the new Pulse concept by assisting in the talent planning and review of the store staff of each Pulse store. Identifying and addressing training needs. Helping to find an adequate solution for existing store staff that will not be capable to work in a (future) Pulse store; - Developing and
executing the annual HR business plan; - Leading The
Benelux HR team (2 people) and managing the HR related costs/Budget; - Developing and
maintaining a strong relationship with The Body Shop International HR team and L’Oreal Benelux.
Candidate’s profile
- Affinity with The
Body Shop’s philosophy, product and values; - Bachelor degree in HR;
- Minimum of 5 years HR management experience in a
Benelux environment. This could e.g. be an experience of 3 years as HR Advisor and 2 years as HR Manager. The candidate can also be a talented HR Advisor that is ready to make the next step; - Experience in retail is a plus;
- Fluent in Dutch, English and a very good knowledge of
French so that the candidate can lead and contribute to store managers meetings in the French language. Part of the job interviews will be conducted in French; - Knowledge about labour legislation, collective
agreements, works councils in The Netherlands and Belgium; - Strong People management skills, negotiation skills,
presentation and facilitation skills. Strong communicator, enthusiastic personality;
- Problem solving / can do mentality. Pragmatic do-er
but also being able to think strategically; - Ability to prioritize;
- Ability to travel across the Benelux and other
European countries (not frequently); - Full time availability (38 hours).
Conditions
- Salary level (depends on experience): max € 55.000
euro per year incl. holiday allowance (based on 38 hours per week); - Variable bonus depending on company results and
individual performance; - 38 hour work week.
